Bücherwurm has been finding the right book for its customers in Regensburg for over 30 years. Meine Buchberatung takes that advice online: a free, roughly 15-minute call by video or phone with a real bookseller, no app needed.

Instead of a booking form, the site opens with a conversation. “Who are you looking for a book for?” is the first question, asked by Evi, one of the booksellers, the same way she’d ask it in the shop. Occasions like gifts, children’s books or getting back into reading lead straight into a request, and after the call the recommendations arrive by email, to order on invoice or pick up in one of the four shops.
